GPE 6 Conference Programme
Dear GPE Partners,
It is our pleasure and honour to invite you to the Sixth Global Partners in Education
Conference which will be held in Krosno, Poland on 5-10 May 2013.
We advise participants to travel to Krakow which has an international airport http://www.krakowairport.pl/en
receiving planes from most European cities. We will meet you at Krakow airport and Krakow train station on the afternoon of Sunday 5th May. If possible, please plan to arrive in Krakow before 4 pm on that day. From Krakow we will take you by bus to Krosno - the conference site. The trip takes 3.5 hours.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning (6th-8th May) will be devoted to conference meetings, panels and discussions. On Wednesday early afternoon a bus will take you back to Krakow. Those of you who will choose to continue with the Field Seminar will spend two more days with us in Kraków and Wieliczka (Wednesday and Thursday). The Field Seminar will end on Friday morning.

Conference Fee 1250 PLN (ca $400)
The fee covers:
- bus transportation from Krakow airport or train station to Krosno (conference site) on the evening of Sunday 5 May and back to Krakow on the afternoon of Wednesday 8 May.
- hotel accommodation in Krosno for 3 nights (Sunday 5 May, Monday 6 May, Tuesday 7 May)
- meals at a local restaurant from Sunday dinner to Wednesday lunch
(including a conference banquet on Tuesday night 7 May)
GPE Educational Cultural Field seminar 8-10 May
Seminar fee 1250 PLN (ca $400)
The fee covers:
- hotel accommodation in Krakow for 2 nights (Wednesday 8 May, Thursday 9th May)
- meals at restaurants from Wednesday dinner to Friday breakfast
- transportation
- visit to the Salt Mines in Wieliczka (Wednesday)
- sightseeing tour of Krakow with visits to the Wawel castle, the Jagiellonian University museum, medieval churches (Thursday)
- an evening concert of classical music (Thursday)
All fees must be transferred to the bank account of Krosno State College by 5th April 2013. Credit card payments cannot be accepted.
We hope that you will be able to come to Krosno next May.
